Laxwomen Face B.U. Today

The Harvard women's lacrosse team will close out its regular season home schedule this afternoon, when it entertains Boston University at 3 p.m. on Soldiers Field.

Ranked fifth in the nation, the Crimson will be looking to extend its winning streak to nine straight games, a feat that would be the second longest winning streak in Harvard women's lacrosse history. The current record is 16 straight wins.

At 8-1 overall the laxwomen will get then first real test in over a week this afternoon. After successive lopsided victories over Brown and Cornell. Harvard will find a far better team in B.U. than the Ivy cellar dwellers it beat up on last week.

After today's first meeting between the two schools in more than four years, Harvard will move on to Yale Saturday for a game that will go a long way in determining the 1984 Ivy League champion.
