Collins Honored

Tuesday, Harvard football Captain Scott Collins was named one of 11 National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame's Scholar-Athletes for 1986.

Collins, a 6-ft., 1-in., 215-1b. linebacker, is Harvard's leading tackler with 41 first hits and 12 assists. He has also broken up four passes and recovered one fumble.

A senior at Winthrop House, Collins is the lone recipient to represent the Ivy League and Division I-AA.

The winners will be honored at the Foundation's 29th annual Hall of Fame Dinner December 9 in New York.

Along with the honor Collins will recieve a $3000 scholarship pending acceptance to graduate school.
