Harvard Captain Scott Collins, who was last month named the Crimson's most valuable player despite having missed The Game with a severe knee injury suffered against Penn, has been named to the All-Ivy First Team.

Collins had amassed 93 tackles in his first eight-plus games, and was on a pace to easily pass the Harvard single-season tackles record of 101 set last year by Brent Wilkinson.

Four other Crimson gridders received All-Ivy mention. Senior center Mike Murray, a Lexington native, was named to the All-Ivy Second Team after receiving honorable honors last year.

Receiving honorable mention this year were kicker Andy Maretz, defensive end Clifton Tidwell (who was third on the Crimson with 62 tackles), and split end Joe Connolly (who led Harvard with 19 receptions this year).
