Have you applied for an absentee ballot for this Tuesday's election? More pertinently, have you received it? Sure, voting is your privilege, your right, your duty! But does your vote really matter when it comes in after you've heard the returns on television?
It's just one of those things. You have to do it, just in case U.S. history suddenly experiences a case of "too close to call." Then again, sometimes those darn registrars make it pretty hard for you to be a full citizen. We heard about one anxious voter whose whole family in California was moved into a "special district" and were all sent absentee ballots. Of course, his hasn't come yet.
