Please advise Justin C. Danilewitz '99 that Professor Robert D. Putnam has not published "the influential book, Bowling Alone: America's Declining Social Capital" as was printed in his front page article (April 16).

Professor Putnam's article "Bowling Alone" has been published once in the Journal of Democracy, and a second time in The Responsive Community. Professor Putnam is currently engaged in a research project on social capital, and expects the book version of "Bowling Alone" to be published in 1997. --Louise Kennedy Administrative Assistant for Robert D.
