On behalf of the Harvard women's soccer team, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the hundreds of dedicated and brave fans who endured 40-degree weather and blustery winds to cheer us on to victory Sunday over UMass.

The cheers and encouragement were much appreciated, warming our hearts and toes. Fan support has been tremendous throughout the season, and we hope the weather cooperates for our upcoming game against George Mason (Sunday, Nov. 23, 1 p.m.)

We would also like to express our amazement and gratitude for the job done by the Harvard Operations Department in preparing Ohiri Field for the game. They spent many hours plowing snow off the field by truck, then carefully removed the last layers by hand. The field maintenance staff allowed us to play on schedule, the loyal fans made the home-field advantage real, and our team responded with a resounding victory.

Thank you all so much, and we hope to see you all this coming Sunday. --Meredith M. Bagley '99
