--The mother of Wang Dan, a student leader in the 1989 pro-democracy protests in Tiananmen Square, on his trial next week for charges of trying to overthrow the government of China. Wang's trial has been scheduled to immediately precede the visit of U.S. Secretary of State Warren Christopher for talks on human rights.
