July 13:

2:35:35 a.m.—A Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officer assisted the Boston Police Department (BPD) in responding to a report of a man with a gun at 863 Huntington Ave. on the Medical School campus.

9:09:30 p.m.—Officers assisted Cambridge Police Department (CPD) with a report of a break-in at 91 Mt. Auburn St. A search of the area turned up negative.

July 14:

2:47:35 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Gund Hall at 48 Quincy St. on a report of a person acting suspiciously. The party was issued a trespass warning and escorted from the property. An officer issued another trespass warning at the same location less than 10 minutes later.

11:03:31 p.m.—HUPD officers were sent to Lamont Library on a report of a bicycle theft. They recovered the stolen bicycle and returned it to its rightful owner.

July 15:

6:27:01 p.m.—Officers responded to Loker Commons on a report of open and gross behavior. They arrested Christian A. Garcia, 17, of Somerville, for trespassing, lewdness and open and gross behavior.

8:58:43 p.m.—An HUPD officer recovered a set of University keys after they had been found by BPD in a stolen motor vehicle.

July 16:

6:24:30 a.m.—An officer was sent to investigate loud construction work at 60 Oxford St. The noisy parties were advised of local ordinances.

6:17:41 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Loker Commons to take a report of a stolen cellular phone.

July 17:

11:31:30 a.m—An HUPD officer responded to a report of an unwanted guest at Leverett House. During a brief field interview, the party was checked for warrants and escorted off the property.

9:16:29 p.m.—An officer was sent to Peabody Terrace to take a report of miscellaneous stolen items.

July 18:

2:15:12 a.m.—Officers observed an abandoned motor vehicle that they determined was stolen. The vehicle was towed and BPD was notified.

6:22:28 p.m.—Officers were sent to investigate a suspicious group at Larsen Hall at 14 Appian Way. They issued the offending parties trespass warnings and escorted them from the property. Officers found the individuals in possession of illegal drugs and subsequently seized the drugs.

July 19:

2:43:32 a.m.—HUPD officers were dispatched to Grays Hall on a report of a person attempting to gain entry to a room. The party was gone on arrival. (See related story, page 3)

8:28:00 p.m.—An officer assisted CPD with the apprehension of a shoplifter at 2 Mt. Auburn St.

9:43:04 p.m.—HUPD officers assisted BPD and the Massachusetts State Police with two reports of armed robberies on Huntington Avenue.
