It's out! On Friday the Hasty Pudding Theatricals announced that Claire Danes is the recipient of the 2012 Woman of the Year award.

Danes currently stars in the series "Homeland," for which she received a Golden Globe award last week. She has also starred in "Romeo + Juliet," "Stage Beauty," and "Igby Goes Down."

Danes will be honored with a parade in Cambridge on Jan. 26. They will also host a celebrity roast and present her with the "Pudding Pot."

The Theatricals said in a press release that they plan to announce their Man of the Year next week.

The Woman of the Year award was established in 1951 and has been given to Meryl Streep, Katharine Hepburn, Julia Roberts, Elizabeth Taylor, Anne Hathaway, and last year, Julianne Moore.
