Even in the thick of June, Cambridge weather has quite the knack of doing the unexpected.

The 8th Annual Taste of Cambridge has been postponed until Tuesday, June 29 due to "devastating" weather expected to grace our skies tomorrow, the Harvard Square Business Association announced this afternoon.

The Taste of Cambridge, founded by the Cambridge License Advisory Board, is the only "Taste of" event in Cambridge, according Robin A. Lapidus, director of marketing and events for the business association. The event will feature 60 local Cambridge restaurateurs and other food and drink providers, and will donate 100 percent of its profits to local charities.

The price of admission to the annual event—which had been originally planned for June 24 at the Charles Hotel from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.—is $50.

Kind of a pricey deal if you're stuck in Cambridge with nothing to do, but it's for a good cause. Until then, we hope you stay dry.
