SWITCHING SIDES
Sophomore Courtney Diekema joined the crew team after playing for the women’s soccer team her freshman year. Her older brother Jordan, a senior, made a similar switch from the men’s swim team to club cycling.
Heavy Water
The No. 13 Radcliffe heavyweights participated in this weekend’s Beanpot Regatta on the Charles River. With four other schools also competing, the Black and White took its final dual meet seriously and posted several first-place finishes against its local rivals. The team now looks forward to EAWRC Sprints.

Shown here in earlier action, the Radcliffe heavyweight varsity eight finished three seconds ahead of defending NCAA varsity champion Yale Saturday morning on the Charles River, giving the Black and White its first defeat of the Bulldogs in eight years. Yale took first in each of the other three events.
