Oct. 3

3:15 p.m.--A Mellow Street resident reported that, while walking on the Roseland Street sidewalk, he stepped on a manhole cover that flipped over. He fell in and sustained injuries to his right leg and left arm.

4:55 p.m.--Harvard police responded to a report of a stolen VCR and television from the common room at the Divinity School's Rockefeller Hall.

Oct. 4

1:29 p.m.--A bicycle was stolen outside Weld Hall.

Oct. 5

1:20 a.m.--A Cambridge resident reported that two males in a sports car approached him and displayed a police badge. The males then asked him to give them his wallet. The complainant did so, and the males drove off with the wallet.

11:07 a.m.--A bicycle was stolen from Lowell House.

12:10 p.m.--A Harvard student reported that her car was damaged while parked on Arrow Street.

12:56 p.m.--A motor vehicle was stolen from the Peabody Terrace visitor parking lot.

2:03 p.m.--Harvard police responded when a student reported that the contents of her wallet were stolen on the third floor of Widener Library.

4:49 p.m.--A laptop computer was stolen from the faculty library at the Law School's Griswold Hall.

3:59 p.m.--Security called to report an intoxicated person bothering people in front of Au Bon Pain. Harvard police removed the man.

3:07 p.m.--A computer monitor was stolen from the Langdell Library Treasure Room.

8:12 p.m.--Harvard police responded to a complaint of suspicious activity at Mather House. The complainant said two males approached him and asked him to purchase tobacco products for them. The Harvard student tried to obtain the products but failed. The two males then said they were police officers from New York City and were considering arresting him. The complainant did not believe them and notified HUPD.

Oct. 6

A Cambridge store reported that sometime on Oct. 6, two teenagers stole $1,000 in Pokemon trading cards.

5:56 p.m.--The manager of the Science Center's Greenhouse Cafe reported that four high school-aged football players stole food and drink. They were gone when a HUPD officer arrived.

Oct. 8

12:16 p.m.--A Plympton Street resident reported a motor vehicle stolen from Garden Street.

12:02 a.m.--Two men were arrested in connection with an assault at the Harvard Square kiosk. A man was hit with a Kryptonite lock and a razor. The victim was taken to Cambridge City Hospital.

Oct. 10

4:30 p.m.--A tourist reported four Red Sox tickets stolen from the Harvard Square Hotel.

10 p.m.--A Brighton man reported a pushcart stolen on Holyoke Street.
