Skiing teams take 10th at Williams Carnival, head to EISA Championships next weekend

The Harvard skiing teams finished 10th of 11 teams at the Williams Carnival this weekend, held in Williamstown, Mass.

Sophomore women’s Nordic captain Jennifer Harlow led Crimson finishers with a 40th place finish in the 5K free skate, garnering a time of 18:48.3. Freshmen Laura Larsen-Strecker and Charlotte Johnson took 56th and 57th, respectively. The three Harvard women finished 18th in the Sprint event with a time of 51:50.9.

The men were led by freshman Oliver Burruss, who finished the 10K free skate in 54th with a time of 33:13.2.

Women’s alpine captain Molly Simmons took 46th in the slalom with a time of 2:10.91. In the GS, junior Susannah Dickerson, sophomore Kathleen Connors, and Simmons finished 47th-49th.

The alpine men were led by freshman Matt Basilico in the GS, taking 44th with a time of 2:08.02. Sophomore Eric Ode was 47th.

Freshman Alex Levin took 39th in the slalom with a time of 2:11.53, followed by sophomore captain Dan Tsai in 46th and junior Kyle Klopcic in 47th.

Next up for Harvard is the EISA Championships in Middlebury, Vt.
