Women's Golf Ties for Third at Rebel Intercollegiate

​Fresh off its third first-place finish of the season, the four-time defending Ivy League champion Harvard women’s golf team headed to Oxford, Miss., this weekend to take part in the Rebel Intercollegiate. After 54 holes over three days of play, the squad came away in a tie for third with Fresno State.

Women's Rugby Finishes Third at Quinnipiac Sevens Tournament

The Harvard women’s rugby team continued its sevens schedule this past weekend at the Quinnipiac Sevens Tournament in Hamden, Conn.. The eight-team field included West Chester, AIC, Dartmouth, Norwich A, Norwich B, Quinnipiac, and Army. The Crimson went 3-2 on the day, going 2-1 in pool play before losing to Quinnipiac in the semifinals. The team would go on to beat the Norwich A squad in the Cup Consolation game, taking third at the tournament.


Men's and Women's Crew Begin Spring Season

​In rainy and slightly colder than normal temperatures, the Harvard men’s and women’s heavyweight and lightweight crew teams got back to work for the spring season, hitting the water for early morning races this past Saturday.


Baseball Drops Road Contest to Holy Cross

The Harvard baseball team registered ten hits on Wednesday evening, but it proved not to be enough to bail out its pitching staff as the Crimson fell, 11-4, to Holy Cross in Worcester. The Crusaders (9-16) had five innings in which they posted two or more runs as the Harvard (7-10) hurlers struggled to find the strike zone.


Groom Allows One Hit Through Five as Softball Tops BC, 2-1

Two runs knocked in by the Crimson’s 3-4 combo of Meagan Lantz and Savannah Bradley in the bottom of the third, paired with five innings of one-hit ball tossed by Morgan Groom, lifted the Harvard softball team past Boston College on Tuesday.


Sailing Posts Trio of Top-Six Finishes

Wrapping up its first month of spring competition, the Harvard sailing team competed in three regattas over the weekend–two local races, the NEISA/MAISA Team Race at Boston College and the BU Team Race Invitational, as well as the Friis Trophy Team Race in Connecticut.

Entering its Tuesday night matchup at Harvard Stadium, BU looked to snap a five game losing streak against against the Crimson and earn its first win in the all-time series. The game was tied, 5-5, at halftime, but a second half surge gave the Terriers the late advantage and the win.


Change on the Way

Barring WNIT appearances, the last time Harvard played postseason basketball was in 2007. Had the conference tournament existed, the Crimson would’ve played in every one since. Despite the departure of a strong senior class, the team has the pieces to be good for the next few years.
