Despite a cold and rainy afternoon, the Harvard men’s and women’s track and field teams put in strong performances on Saturday in New Haven, Conn. While the men’s squad came up just short of the Bulldogs for the eighth year in a row, the Crimson women soundly defeated Yale.

The Harvard track and field team traveled to the Brown Invitational on Saturday, with both the men's and women's squads taking third in a six-team field.

Sophomore Darcy Wilson, shown here in indoor action, won the 800-meter race at Saturday’s Brown Invitational, headlining a weekend of solid performances for the men’s and women’s track and field teams. Wilson posted a time of 1:53.41 to take the event, while rookie Weishen Mead finished sixth.
Track Strong Again in Outdoor Meet
Harvard traveled to Princeton, N.J. for the Sam Howell Invitational on Friday and Saturday, taking on a field that included Yale, Princeton, and many other New England schools.
