Senior Claire Richardson impressed during the spring track season, winning the women’s 3000-meter title at the outdoor Heps. The men’s squad placed fourth, its best finish in five years, as junior pole vaulter Nico Weiler and rookie thrower Dustin Brode earned All-Ivy first-team honors.

Sophomore Stewart Richardson, shown here in earlier action, was the top non-freshman finisher for Harvard at the Iona Meet of Champions, placing 54th overall and fifth on the Crimson. The men’s squad placed fifth in the 19-team field, while the women were 13th out of 18.

Freshman Olivia Weeks, who finished seventh in the long jump at the outdoor Heptagonal Championships, was part of a strong freshman class for the women’s track team. Rookies Ashtynn Baltimore, Melissa Bellin, and Mary Hirst all recorded top-six finishes at Heps, where the team placed seventh.

BASEBALL AND ART
Harvard Baseball Coach Joe Walsh teaches Charl Brown, a cast member of the American Repertory Theater's upcoming musical about the Red Sox "Johnny Baseball," how to throw a pitch. The cast will be attending a Red Sox game on Friday for further study.
