Squash coach Satinder Bajwa, pictured on the right, will not be coming back next year after the Athletic Department refused to renew his contract. There was much controversy over the move, with an alumnus alleging discrimination and a lack of explanation on the part of department.

Despite coming off a successful season, in which he won three national titles with the men’s and women’s teams, Harvard squash coach Satinder Bajwa will not see his contract renewed for next year.
Five All-Americans for Women's Squash
Just in case winning two national titles in her first collegiate squash season wasn’t enough, Harvard freshman Laura Gemmell was the obvious candidate for one more honor. This morning, the College Squash Association named her a first-team All-American, an accolade that Gemmell easily deserved after finishing her campaign with a perfect 16-0 record.
Harvard Sweeps National Titles
Harvard co-captain Colin West ended his distinguished career on a high note after finally capturing the trophy that eluded him for so long, while freshman counterpart Laura Gemmell capped off her first season with the same accolade—a national individual title.

Gemmell Shines at National Tourney
Ending the season 16-0, Gemmell maintained perfection in her first year of collegiate squash and has set the bar high for next year when the team and Gemmell seek to defend their respective titles.
Guruge Band
Sophomore Nirasha Guruge fell in her semifinal battle against Yale but bounced back to defeat her opponent handily in the national championship match against Penn, helping the women's squash team to a 6-3 victory. The Crimson captured the Howe Trophy with the win
Women's Squash Captures National Title
The No. 1 Harvard women’s squash team defeated No. 3 Penn, 6-3, to capture the national title at the College Squash Association’s Team Championships hosted by Yale.
Championship Run Begins For Crimson
Because of its strong performance, Harvard enters the CSA National Team Championships seeded No. 1. This weekend, the Crimson and seven other elite teams—Trinity, Penn, Princeton, Yale, Cornell, Stanford, and Williams—will be playing for the Howe Cup at Yale’s Brady Squash Center.
