Two for the Price of One
Senior Aisha Price started in 14 women’s soccer games, tallying seven points, last fall before co-captaining the women’s water polo team in the winter and spring. She credits her coaches and Harvard’s Ivy League affiliation for allowing her to compete in two sports.
Better Together
Sophomore Alex Steinroeder, shown here in previous action, was victorious in his singles match at line four as well as in doubles with partner freshman Kelvin Lam. Steinroeder finishes the regular season with a 16-13 singles record but is 8-1 when teaming up with Lam.
Lange Ball
In a 5-4 loss to Dartmouth, Kasey Lange went 1-for-1 with a home run and three walks. The homer was her 13th of the year. The rest of the Harvard softball team combined to hit 10 home runs this season. Lange also leads her squad in hits and RBI and posted a .461 on-base percentage.
Olson Twins
In the final weekend of play for the Harvard softball team, junior captain Shelbi Olson tallied two RBIs, three steals, and her only triple of the season. She ends her season on a 15-game hitting streak.
Nguyen-er
Sophomore Denis Nguyen and partner junior co-captain Casey MacMaster are the 52nd ranked-doubles tandem in the country, and they’ve looked that way so far this season, with an 8-1 record at the No. 1 spot. Harvard has won 12 straight doubles points and has not lost in the Ivy League since April 8, 2012.
Hu-Dini
Freshman Nicky Hu, shown above in previous action, dropped his first singles set against Drake, 6-2, but came back to seal the team victory by winning the second set, 6-3, before claiming the third-set tiebreaker, 7-6(5). The loss was the Bulldogs’ first in its last 18 matches as they fell, 4-2.
You Mad?
Junior co-captain Nick Madden launched 11 kills and two service aces in a 3-0 sweep of MIT on Tuesday night to help the Crimson rebound from two weekend losses. Madden’s 115 kills this season is second on the Crimson to freshman outside hitter Branden Clemens, who had five kills on Tuesday.
FRYGHT CLUB
Junior forward Lyndsey Fry, shown above in earlier action, found the back of the net twice in Harvard’s 5-2 defeat of Brown on Tuesday night at the Bright Hockey Center. Both of Fry’s goals in the contest were assisted by captain Jillian Dempsey, who entered the top 10 in points in school history.

Jill Pill
Co-captain Jillian Dempsey, shown here in earlier action, helped the Harvard women’s hockey team to a 3-1 win over conference rival Cornell on Saturday. The win was Harvard’s first over the Big Red since 2008.
