Men’s Tennis Posts Impressive Results During California Road Trip

The No. 10 Harvard men’s tennis team (13-5) entered spring break with fresh legs, traveling across the country to California to take on the No. 47 University of California Santa Barbara, California Lutheran University, No. 40 Pepperdine University, and No. 29 University of California Los Angeles. It emerged with a 3-1 record on the trip, making the cross-country trip worthwhile.

The No. 8 Harvard men’s tennis (8-4) team posted two key victories this past weekend, defeating a storied No.13 Duke (9-5) program, and besting the No. 44 Northwestern University (5-9) Wildcats for the fifth time in a row.

In the 79th minute of the 2023 Ivy League 15s Championship Rugby game, featuring rivals Harvard University and Dartmouth College, everything was on the line as first-year Neasa McLaughlin tied the game with a try. As time ran out, sophomore Skylar Jordan’s kick secured the game for the Crimson, with Harvard beating Dartmouth 19-17 thanks to her conversion.

As Harvard women’s heavyweight rowing enters its 2023 season and the historic Head of the Charles Regatta approaches, Claire Ochal begins her first year as head coach of the team. Ochal replaces previous head coach Liz O’Leary, who had an incredible 37-year impact on Crimson heavyweight rowing.


In Her Senior Season, Harvard Women's Volleyball's Ashley Wang Makes Triple-Doubles History

Ashley Wang recorded her sixth triple-double of the season on Oct. 6 as Harvard women’s volleyball  (11-5, 4-3 Ivy League) took on Princeton in its 13th game of the season. An athlete that scores double figures in three or more of five statistical categories— aces, kills, digs, blocks, assists — posts a triple-double. Wang is now one triple-double shy of setting the school record, meaning she had double-figures.
