Bring Jury Duty to Harvard

If the College were to permit students to volunteer to be on the Ad Board, it would play an inconceivably treacherous game. My idea is hardly revolutionary: Let Harvard College students accused of wrongdoing go before a jury of their peers — and most importantly, an impartial one at that.


The FAS Finds the Right Problem but the Wrong Solution

All that is to say the FAS would be well advised to forgo acting as though they coddle and herd toddlers at a paternalistic preschool, and rather help run America’s premier research university in a way that educates undergraduates to lead society forward. Students, faculty, and our nation deserve no less.


Close Quincy Courtyard Now

I look forward to the day Harvard finally does the right thing and closes the Yard and all other residential common spaces. But I also think baby steps — closing Quincy courtyard — are a step in the right direction.
