Adams Gong Found!

The famed Adams gong, missing since before Housing Day, resurfaced early Wednesday afternoon—in Eliot House dining hall for all to see, no less. This happened the day before the gong's absence was about to be reported to the Cambridge police.

Cabot, Eliot, and Mather House Masters Announced

The College today announced the appointment of three Harvard professors and their spouses as the House Masters of Cabot, Eliot, and Mather Houses.

Eliot's Inferno

The Inferno, Eliot House’s Grille, is so called because of a grease fire that caused the entire house to evacuate in 2000. The grille was resurrected in 2008 and has been running successfully since then.


Dante Scholar To Lead Harvard Center in Italy

After nearly 15 years as a Harvard professor, renowned Dante scholar Lino Pertile will become director of the Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies in Florence next summer.
