Fogg Museum Renewal Continues

The Harvard arts community anticipates the culmination of the extensive renovation of the Fogg Museum—currently slated for late 2013—will physically unite the Busch, Sackler, and Fogg Museums and will realign the way that students interact with art.

Throughout the performance, singers, dancers, and announcers alike refrained from wearing shoes to give the show the most authentic feel possible. During fast-paced acts, the sound of the bare feet on the stage added to the overall rhythm of the piece.

Sumit Malik ‘13 and Daniel Haldar ‘12 pair up to perform a Hindustani Classical medley, exploring the emotions of sorrow and tranquility through the tabla, a type of drum, and a piano. The piece starts off with a slow, improvised introduction then speeds up, culminating in a fast tempo.
