Tachibana held down the No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles spots for Harvard. which is now 7-6 on the year.
Music group Umeed-e-Sahar played alongside Harvard students on Saturday at a fundraising concert to benefit victims of the flood in Pakistan in Leverett Dining Hall to students and members of the South Asian community.
Junior Holly Cao, the No. 45 singles player in the country, knocked off Maryland’s representative at the top singles spot, but her effort was not enough to prevent the Crimson’s 6-1 loss to the Terrapins yesterday. She also teamed up with Natalie Blosser to take home a victory at No. 2 doubles.
