Topping Off Tata
The highest steel beam of the new Tata building is hoisted above a crowd on the Business School campus on Monday. It was painted white and adorned with dozens of signatures and a small pine tree according to a Norse tradition adopted by steel workers in "topping off" ceremonies.

Plans for Allston Develop

TJERKING MY CHAIN
New Harvard field hockey coach Tjerk van Herwaarden left his job as assistant head coach at national power Maryland to try and rebuild the Crimson this season. In his first two games at the helm, the Dutch national has Harvard sitting at 1-1. The Crimson faces Providence on Sept. 8.
