LIVE UPDATES: Pro-Palestine Protesters Begin Encampment in Harvard Yard
Three female undergraduates reported to Harvard Police at roughly 3 a.m. on Wednesday that a man had attempted to rob them while they walked through the Sunken Gardens in Radcliffe Yard.
According to an advisory message sent to Harvard affiliates from Harvard University Police Department spokesperson Steven G. Catalano, detectives have identified a suspect and made an arrest.
According to Catalano, the students reported that they were approached by a male who showed them what was apparently a knife and demanded their purses. The victims fled without injury or relinquishing their property.
