Here, FM plays Master of Decor and points out feng shui do's and don'ts, stopping two Harvard venues from becoming xiong zai (houses of doom).

BAD

1. Wooden furniture means too many dead objects in the room and brings bad luck.

2. Desk chair sits away from the wall, causing a loss of potential power.

3. Desk lamp on the side of dominant hand (right side) causes energy loss.

4. L-shaped floorplan sends a subconscious message that something is missing.

5. Dark door repels prosperity.

GOOD

6. Plants purify air.

7. Mirror attracts prosperity.

8. Upward-facing lamps increase hope and upward drive.

BAD

1. Sharp-cornered desk causes bad luck

2. Desk facing wall discourages colleague trust by inviting back-stabbing (literally).

3. Exposed corner acts like a poisonous arrow, induces poverty.

4. Too much radio equipment drains chi.

GOOD

5. Door opens inward and strengthens chi.

6. Fan and dehumidifier bring in kinetic energy
