What's Worse: The ACA Website or Harvard Websites?

Since the launch of the Affordable Care Act website, there has been a lot of criticism about its workability. Some active internet commenters have been pretty outspoken about how they think it's the worst site in the history of the interwebz. Harvard students beg to differ. Students spend hours trying to traverse the maze that is the Harvard University Portal. To name just a few of these nearly impossible to navigate websites:

The Verdict: Instadvice

Welcome to The Verdict, Flyby's newest advice column! We know most of you on campus consider yourselves to be “tech savvy,” but the ultimate measure of social media success is arguably Instafame. If you’re confused by what that means, stop reading now. Instagram launched in 2010 and over the years other social media forms (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) have had to begrudgingly make room for this photo editing and sharing app. Instasuccess is everything. Stanford Students Swap Secretions

It appears that Stanford students are bad at kissing. At least bad at kissing without infecting the entire student body in the process. Yes, it seems that germs are running rampant over on the West Coast, where the Stanford tradition of "Full Moon on the Quad" (imagine Incest Fest for the whole school) has exposed undergraduates to the risk of campus-wide flu and mononucleosis epidemics. Smh, Stanford.

Flyby Ranks the Rankings

We’re at a place that’s famously obsessed with rankings - especially ones that put the big H on top. Recently, the Atlantic did a comprehensive ranking of the college rankings that included a whole two rankings(!). Flyby wanted to embrace this idea and do an actual ranking of rankings.

Who Needs the Jonas Brothers?

There are few things better than a boy band. And so, when another one bites the dust, disaster strikes. If you haven’t already heard (although we can’t imagine how you could be so in the dark), the Jonas Brothers have officially called it quits. If your first instinct is "Wait, they’re brothers, how could they have broken up?," we don’t really have an answer. We can only provide you with Nick Jonas’ disheartening explanation, “I was feeling kind of trapped." Though Nick apparently said that "It’s really hard to say ‘forever,’" he also confirmed that he and his brothers are "closing a chapter, for sure.”
