It's happened to almost everyone. You plan an event. Dozens of people RSVP. But when the date rolls around, only a few actually show up. Well, Leverett House Master Howard M. Georgi '68 has had enough.


CS50 Revises Office Hours to Be More Social, Efficient

In a format inspired by the Apple Store’s Genius Bar, arriving students log in to the course website, cs50.net, and access CS50 Queue—a new application crafted this summer by Teaching Fellow Thomas M. MacWilliam ’13.

SEA Night 2011

The South East Asian Coalition hosted a night of food and performances on April 23rd. The event took place in Leverett Dining Hall, featuring an eight-course meal and seven cultural performances by the Harvard Philppine Forum (HPF), the Harvard Vietnamese Association (HVA), and the Singaporean, Indonesia, and Malaysia Association (SIAMA).


Music group Umeed-e-Sahar played alongside Harvard students on Saturday at a fundraising concert to benefit victims of the flood in Pakistan in Leverett Dining Hall to students and members of the South Asian community.


Leverett House

The House of the Hare is best described as "accommodating." Although Leverett House has many advantages and disadvantages, the variety of housing options and decent location push this River House into the top two-thirds according to our ranking system.


Housing Day Videos Get Personal

The housing day videos released thus far have been fairly tame in the sense that they haven't singled out their rival Houses for ridicule. Currier and Pforzheimer, however, are stepping up their campaigns with new videos that not only claim they are the best, but that other Houses are the worst.


Housing Day is Pfunny and Feels Good

With housing day less than a month away, two more Houses are using the internet as a means to demonstrate their feelings of superiority over their eleven counterparts. Several days ago, we saw Hollywood-inspired videos from Dunster and Quincy. Now, Leverett has released a video, Pforzheimer has created a blog, and Quincy followed up its "Quinception" teaser with the full-length video.


Falling Ice Presents Hazards Across Campus

While many around campus have been enjoying the recent rise in temperature, some of the effects of the warm weather have not been quite as positive. In addition to enormous puddles of melted snow, there is now another hazard to consider on your way to class: falling ice.


A Sensual Study Break

Curious Leverett House members were able to learn about an array of edible aphrodisiacs this Sunday, just in time for Valentine’s Day. The Food Literacy Project and the Health and Wellness Center teamed up to put on a study break to showcase what types of food can put you in the mood for loving.


Crap in a Leverett Closet

Earlier this semester, we brought you the news of an unknown drunken partygoer who left his soiled underwear outside a door in Quincy House. Now, it seems that the putrid post-party pooping trend has spread downriver to Leverett.
