The Class of 1881 has raised a sum of $115,000 to be presented to the University in commemoration of the twenty-fifth anniversary of its graduation. Besides this fund the class has also presented the section of the Yard fence in front of Phillips Brooks House, and the class gate at the entrance of Brooks House. Both the gate and fence will be formally dedicated on Tuesday.

An extensive program has also been arranged in honor of the occasion, which will be carried out next week. Besides other entertainments will be a reception at the State House by Governor Guild '81, and a dinner at the Algonquin Club, Boston. On Commencement Day the class will take part in the regular exercises. Mr. E. W. Atkinson '81 has been chosen Chief Marshal of the alumni for that day.
