Aiming to start off the regular intercollegiate season with a bang, the Varsity basketball team will travel to Walker Gym tonight to take on its Cambridge rival, M.I.T., at 8:30 o'clock.

On the basis of his fine showing in practice this week, Frank Bixler may replace George Dillon at right forward in the starting lineup although two other players, Dean Hennessey and Tom Axen, are right in the thick of the fight.

Won Last Two

The Crimson has won the last two encounters with the Tech team, last year by the lopsided score of 61 to 81; but the year before it won out by only one basket.

Latest word from M.I.T. reports taht its team hasn't been able to have much practice because of the installation of blackout curtains in the gym this week. Howover, last Firday it defeated North-eastern 35-37 in an unofficial game.

Before the Varsity contest, the Joyvees will try for their first win of the reason against the Tech Freshmen. This game will start at 7 o'clock.
