Dodds Outlines New 25-Year Development Policy for Princeton

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

President Harold W. Dodds of Princeton has outlined a 25-year expansion policy for that university which tentatively calls for at least seven new buildings in addition to relocation of several departments.

At the same time, Dodds said that he saw "no increase in undergraduate enrollment or changes in the basic nature and purpose of the university in the new college development plan." He did say that he forsaw a possibility of an increase in the number of graduate students.

Construction of science labratories, dormitories, eating facilities, office space, and new buildings for at least two departments are planned in the new expansion program. The first improvement planned, according to Dodds, will be the erection of a new five unit Engineering quadrangle.

Dodds said that no cost estimate of the overall plan has been attempted for the program.
