Junior captain Ian Carswell finsihed another impressive Ivy League cross-country season by winning this past weekend's Heptagonals and being named to the 1995 First Team All-Ivy Cross Country Men's Team.
Carswell, a proud Leverett House resident, finished the five mile course in an impressive 25:12.9. Carswell finished almost a second ahead of the second place finisher, Jack Dwyer from Dartmouth.
The Harvard men's team did not fare as wellas its dashing leader, finishing a disappointed sixth. Still, both Carswell and the team harbor high hopes for the Easterns, coming up on November 7th. And it's a good bet that Carswell, the Ivy League's premier runner, will comethrough.
