July 15:

12:32 a.m.—An HUPD officer was dispatched to Adams House to investigate a report of a suspicious person in the building, near the dining hall. By the time the officer arrived, an hour and a half later, the person had vanished.

9:01 a.m.—Officers were dispatched to the Kennedy School to take a report of harassing phone calls.

4:13 p.m.—HUPD officers investigated a report of a suspicious person around William James Hall who did not respond when asked questions about the nature of his business. By the time the officers arrived, the individual had left.

July 16:

1:37 a.m.—Officers investigated a report of a person kicking a shopping cart in Vanderbilt Hall. The officers determined that the person was affiliated with the University and asked him to remove the cart when he was done.

2:23 p.m.—HUPD officers were dispatched to the New Research Building to close an open motor-vehicle trunk.

July 17:

3:45 a.m.—HUPD officers investigated reports of a boisterous group said to be breaking bottles in the Law School Quad. The officers determined that the individuals were drinking legally and had broken the bottle accidentally.

8:35 a.m.—Officers were dispatched to investigate reports of a person sleeping in the Weld Hall laundry room. The officers roused the person from his sleep and asked him to sleep in his own room in the future.

July 18:

12:03 a.m.—Officers were dispatched to Vanderbilt Hall to investigate reports of a loud noise but were unable to determine its source.

11:53 a.m.—HUPD officers investigated reports of a person in Harvard Square known to have outstanding warrants. But, after speaking to the person, they determined he had been misidentified.

3:58 p.m.—HUPD officers investigated a report of a person consuming alcohol in his motor vehicle while parked in the Malkin Athletic Center parking lot. The officers determined the person was consuming a non-alcoholic beverage while waiting for a friend.

6:37 p.m.—Officers were dispatched to investigate reports of a suspicious individual interrogating passersby outside the Science Center. By the time officers arrived to interrogate the individual, he had left.

11:42 p.m.—Officers were dispatched after residents of Adam House complained about a skateboarder. Officers asked the skateboarder to skateboard elsewhere.

July 19:

10:07 a.m.—Officers were dispatched to the Semitic Museum to take a report of harassing phone calls.

1:03 p.m.—A HUPD officer investigated reports of a suspicious person on the third floor of the Fairchild Biochemistry Building. The person was not in the building when the officer arrived.

3:46 p.m.—Officers were dispatched to investigate after a motor vehicle drove into a parking gate arm at the Oxford St. Garage. The broken arm was reattached and a report was filed.
