In Photos: Harvard Dharma Celebrates Holi

Each year, Harvard Dharma hosts Holi, a traditional festival of colors representing the triumph of good over evil. Over the course of two hours on Saturday, students celebrated with powdered colors across Tercentary Theater.

While waiting for everyone to arrive, attendees were split into two groups playing games until the beginning of the festival. As soon as the games break up, a mad dash ensues to the color powder table as students begin to fling pigment at each other.

In front of Memorial Church, tables are stocked with pigments of every color.

Next to the color table sits a trash can full of hot water for students to fill their water guns.

Students, donning white outfits, come prepared to get covered in powder.

Clouds of colored powder fill the air in Harvard Yard, as students celebrate into the afternoon.

The large crowd slowly starts to leave, as the powder begins to run out.

In the aftermath of the festival, the ground is littered with water cups, powder packaging, and leftover pigment.
