In Photos: The Students of Crimson Jam 2026

rimson Jam, Harvard’s annual back-to-school concert, took over the Yard on Sept. 4. For its first year being organized by Harvard College Live — an offshoot of the College Events Board — organizers tapped Grammy-nominated Swedish DJ Alesso to headline the event, which capped off the first week of classes.

Inflatables and other activities were set up around the Yard throughout the event. Students came out in droves, looking to let loose after their first week back.

As the TGs took the stage, the crowd packed in. Students were excited to cheer on the student group, recording the performance on their phones.

The TGs performed a slew of covers of popular songs that got the crowd moving.

Several members of the pop and jazz group performed solos throughout their set.

As the TGs set came to a close, the energy in the crowd did not. They left the stage to the sound of cheering following an electric closing number.

As the sun set over the Yard, Yael A. Danon ’28, former Israel’s Got Talent winner, took the stage. She performed a mixture of original songs and covers.

As she neared the end of her set, fans in the front row sang along with Danon’s original music.

As the crowd cheered, Danon played her final song, closing out nearly two hours of performances from student musicians. Alesso took the stage shortly afterward for what proved to be a highly entertaining night.
