Katherine Clark Wins Democratic Nomination for House

Incumbent U.S. Representative Katherine M. Clark (D-Mass), the current Democratic Whip, won the Democratic nomination for House in her first contested race since 2014.

Clark faced off against challengers Tarik Samman, a 27-year-old Harvard Law School researcher, and Jonathan Paz, a former Waltham city councilor for the Fifth Congressional District, which covers most of West Cambridge and Harvard Square. Clark secured 75 percent of the vote.
