Health for Haiti
A field hospital in Fond Parisien, Haiti, was started less than a week after the earthquake hit on Jan. 12. Meeting inside a makeshift office are doctors from around the country, including (from left) Michael VanRooyen (Harvard), Hilarie Cranmer (Harvard), Jennifer Chan (Northwestern University), Christian Theodosis (University of Chicago), and Emille Calvello (Johns Hopkins). (CORRECTION: An earlier caption for this Feb. 19 photograph incorrectly stated the affiliation of Jennifer Chan as the University of Chicago. In fact, she is affiliated with Northwestern University. The caption has been edited to reflect the error.)
