Rugby Places Third in National 7s Tournament After Heartbreaking Semifinal Match
Harvard arrived in Indianapolis, Ind., for a weekend of rigorous competition at the Rugby 7s National Tournament. The first day consisted of group play, and the second day of finals play. In group play, the team faced Life College and Davenport College. On the final day, the Crimson fell to Lindenwood in overtime of the semifinal. Harvard bounced back in the battle for third place, beating Army 17-10.
Rugby Wins Ivy 7s Championship
After a mixed start to the season at Tropical 7s, Harvard returned to its home turf, Mignone Field, to compete for the Ivy 7s trophy. The Crimson’s A team dominated, earning a stellar undefeated record across the weekend and claiming first place.
Tropical 7s Plate Champions, Statement Scorelines, and a Centurian
Harvard headed to Tropical 7s over the weekend for the annual tournament based at a 15-field sportsplex in Tampa, Fla. The tournament hosts over 200 teams across youth, senior, and various levels. Squads arrive from across North America and overseas for the tenth annual competition.
Women’s Swim and Dive Concludes Season at NCAA Championships
Whilst their classmates travelled to tropical destinations over spring break, some members of the women’s swim and dive team travelled down to Atlanta, Ga., for the National Championship meet to compete against the nation’s fastest in the pool. Harvard sent three seniors, Sydney Lu, Anya Mostek, and diver Nina Janmyr, and junior Alexandra Bastone.

Last week marked the pinnacle of the season for the women’s swim and dive team as it headed to the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center at Brown University to compete in the four-day Ivy League Championship Meet. During the meet, Harvard placed third, falling just behind Princeton and Penn.
Harvard Women’s Swim and Dive Beats Yale, Loses to Princeton
The Crimson beat Yale 207-93 and fell to Princeton 139.5-160.5. The stands at Blodgett Pool were packed over the course of the two-day men’s and women’s dual meet, with cheers ringing throughout the pool up through the last relay. For some athletes, this was their final meet, as the team can only take around 20 people to compete at Ivies.
Women’s Swim & Dive Sweeps First Home Meet of the New Year Against Penn and Boston College
The Harvard women's swim and dive team continued its winning ways, proving that it can dominate just as it did in Florida last week and at home. Harvard defeated Penn 199-101 and Boston College 251-45 this weekend to improve to 8-0 this season.
