RIDING LESSONS FOR REGIMENT

Chance for instruction in Equitation at Commonwealth Armory.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Arrangements have been made where by equitation may be learned by members of the Regiment and any other undergraduates, if there are any vacancies.

The Commanding Officer of the Regiment has received the following communication from the captain of D Troop, M.V.M., in regard to the riding lessons, which he publishes for the general information of those interested:

"From: Captain C. T. Lovering, Troop B, M.V.M.

To: Captain C. Cordier, U.S.A., Commanding Officer, Harvard Regiment.

Subject: Riding Classes.

"1. After talking with Commanding Officers of Troop C, M.V.M., and Battery A, M.V.M., I find that between us we can provide for, say, 30 men at any one time, give them the benefits of the regular sergeant instructor's services at the rate of $5 for 6 lessons per individual, and schedule them any day in the week except Saturdays and Sundays at any hour between 1 and 5 o'clock.

"2. I shall be glad to hear from you in regard to this at your convenience. (Signed) C. T. LOVERING,   Captain.

The lessons will be given at the Commonwealth Armory in Allston and those who have had little or no experience in riding will be given particular instruction.
