Kirtley F. Mather, professor of Geology was named head of the Association of Summer Session Deans and Directors at the annual meeting of the association in Minneapolis, Minn, last week. Mather has been director of the Summer School here since 1934. He is the first Harvard Summer School Director to head the Association.
