A Song of Snow and Ice
I was grateful to be headed back to New Hampshire at the end of a long semester. It was wonderful to be with my family again, but after a few too many days of getting snowed in, I was going a bit stir-crazy. After digging ourselves out of mountains of snow, we braved the bitter cold to travel around the state. Winter weather may be inconvenient, but at least I got some nice photos out of it!

Christmas in Cuenca
This year, my family and I spent Christmas in Cuenca and New Year’s in Quito, Ecuador—both cities are full of cathedrals and Spanish-style colonial architecture.
Grand Turk
The next day, it was the port of Grand Turk, an island in Turks and Caicos. A beautiful white sand beach was located just off the dock , allowing visitors to swim literally feet from the cruise ship.
